- -> The link strengths in this directory are determined by Semrush's Authority Score (AS).
- -> It's an approximation of the effect of a backlink on your SEO success
- -> They begin at 0 (no impact) and typically range up to 90 (often seen on the front page of popular sites, though usually just temporarily).
- -> It’s not the same thing as Domain Authority (DA) or Domain Rank (DR): Link Strength also considers how important the page is within the domain. Being linked on the front page carries more weight than being on a deeper subpage.

What does follow / nofollow mean? And does it affect SEO?
- -> nofollow is a rel attribute on the a href html tag
- -> It informs Google that it should not influence the target links SEO ranking
- -> But it's not completely irrelevant. Google has announced 2019 that They also consider cues from nofollow links, although they are much less influential than follow links.
- -> This means that typically, it only makes sense to seek do-follow links.
- -> We've organized the nofollow links and included those that we believe are still relevant in a separate nofollow table.
How long does it take for my SEO traffic to skyrocket?
- -> SEO is a long-term strategy. In my experience, I started seeing significant results about 4 months after acquiring backlinks. SEO experts suggest that you typically notice satisfactory results between 6 and 12 months. (source)
- -> Your SEO results won't skyrocket unless you combine backlinks with creating articles containing the keywords you want to rank for (which is a separate topic we won't delve into here).
- -> Getting backlinks from directories alone is a solid, easy start but To achieve high rankings, it's not sufficient. Directories typically contain numerous outbound links, and Google recognizes that obtaining a link there isn't particularly challenging. Conversely, websites within your niche (such as blogs or community/education sites) have a greater impact on your SEO, but acquiring links from them is more difficult.
